cheerful Good Morning everyone!
I hope you all are doing well. This is the first official update from California. A week has gone by and i am having the time of my life. Here are a few highlights from this week:
Saturday: we had a 9 am flight direct from Detroit to San Fransisco. After we landed we grabed a bite to eat at quiznos then headed to my relitives house. We spent teh rest of the day unpacking and settling in. Late that night we played hardcore games of lazertag with a bunch of people which was sweet. i ended up getting 5th out of 30! My cousins took first and second place cause they rock.
Sunday: we headed to the beach but it was north cali so the water was freezing. we ended up playing a long, grueling game of "peg the povel". To play this game you have one person on each team (only 2 people on a team) sitting down crosslegged on the sand. The other person has to guard them from getting hit. the ball we use is a nerf football. There is a line dividing the 2 teams in the middle which you can't cross. And the whole part of the game is to hit the other teams person who is sitting down. it is sooo much fun and when i get home i am definatly putting together a huge game of peg the povel. *and this game will not end up like my game of kickball*. After teh beach we were super tired so we went back and stayed up watching tivo. sweet.
Monday- On monday we went to the tech museum in san jose which was so awsome. it was this huge science museum with so many things to do. adn i learned a lot of stuff about genetics there and i'm considering it as a possible career field. Attached to the museum was an i-max theatre adn they were showing charlie and the chocolate factory. That was so sweet. i had already seen the movie but seeing it as i-max was soo much cooler.
tuesday- we just sat around the house on tuesday. i ran a bunch of errands with my aunt and cuz jordan which was cool. But then that night my cuzin eric's friends (all going into college) came over adn they went up to the high school to play ultimate frisbee. Jordan (14) adn i were jealous cause we wanted to play so we walked up there a bit after they left. we ended up beating them there. We didnt' want them to know we were there yet *we were spying on them* so we went up and sat in the bleachers. They were so freaked out because all they could see were two shadowy figures. They kept calling out "who the fuck is there??" but we didn't anwser. they kept getting closer until Jordan finally yelled "Eric Sucks!!" and then they realized who it was. I ended up chilling with them for a few hours but after 500 too many short jokes "no way are you 16. do you actually have you lisence?? come on dude, you gotta be like 13 at most" we left. (of course after i accidentally threw the frisbee a little too hard and it was launched onto the roof) No one cared cause they were done playing. Jordan adn i stayed up for Eric by watching The Andy Milionakis Show *BEST SHOW!!!* and the movie "the shining".
Wednesday- this day my parents took Jordan, David and i to the near by city pool. it was crowded with camp kids like the HW pool gets during the day but it was so cool because they have this huge 12 foot tall high dive. after a few practice jumps i got up the courage to dive off the top of it. SWEET! i actually did it! BHS diving team here i come! ha no. just kidding. Everything was great until i decided to attemp my pike off the high dive. i had been practicing it all day on the smaller diving board but i felt it was time to take the plunge. literally. unfortunatly i was a bit over-rotated adn i ended up bending my back into positions that well...should never be bent into. THE END OF SWIMMING DAY. But my dad made ribs for dinner which were mmm mmm good!
Thursday- BEST DAY. so aunt gorg, Jordan, David and I went to raging waters which is this sweet water park in san jose. They have kick ass waterslides and a wavepool. plus a lazy river! We spent the whole day there standing in long lines (but so worth it), having the hot hot sun tan our pale bodies, and going on as many rides as possible. I had sooo much fun! When we got home uncle jerry took us to IN-AND-OUT BURGER for dinner in his INFINITY sports car. IN-AND-OUT BURGER is the most clean fast food resturaunt you will ever be in. i wish we had them in michigan cause you would all love them. Their french fries are made of real, fresh potatoes! and plus it's also the teen hang out place everynight. i wish we had a hangout place. Unless you count starbucks. After dinner uncle jerry took me out to the los altos hills in the sports car and took me on the ride of my life. Since it was a stick he showed me all the different gears and how fast the car could go. HOLY SHIT! it was amazing. i wish i could drive it. When we got back all of eric's friends were at the house. I wasn't exactly so excited to see them because of the previous visit but this time they were super groovy towards me. (as jordan would say). We played a hard core 2 hour game of RISK which in the end colin and i co-dominated the world! That is such a sweet game. i wonder if we have it. cause i'll take an of you on. After the game we went inside and watched Dance 360 which is super popular here. we were really upset with the party people because the girl they chose really sucked and the only reason they didn't pick the other guy was cause he was a little white guy. but he was clearly sooo much better! screw them. Next we went online and watched "Drive-By Harry Potter Spoiler" where these guys in a pick up truck decided to ruin the harry potter book by screaming the ending to people outside the nearby bookstore standing in line to buy the book. it was soooo funny. the whole thing was video taped! this one lady in the bacground was like "nooooooooooooo you BITCH!!!!!!!" HAHAHAHAHA. fucking loser. hey the book was spoiled for me so i don't care about anyone else. The best was my cousins jazz concert "uh hi, yeah the first band up tonight is DUMBLEDORE DIES . oh god sorry if any of you were harry potter fans. anyways continuing with tonights performance. The first peace we would like to play for you tonight is called SNAPE DID IT." hahahahahahaha classic. anywho. after Eric and his friends left us to go see a meteor shower at around 1 am Jordan and i "borrowed" the intrepid and drove aimlessly around mountian view trying to find Jorettos. (a spanish soda type drink that is amazing). unfortunatly nothing was open so we went to an empty church parking lot and i taught Jordan how to drive. That was sweet/scary. at 2ish we rolled on back to the house and watched Clerks until Eric got home and we all went to bed.
Friday- today we woke up adn said goodbye to eric. he left for Perdue today for his first year of college. lucky bastard. then my family piled into the canyonero and drove 3 hours to pick up cusin Andrew from UC DAVIS. beautiful college. We walked around campus for a bit. (ok more like drove because it was 101 degrees there. adn then went to a Taquaria bar for dinner. mmm jorittos. When we got home Andrew and i went to Tower records and i bough the new alkaline trio cd, ben folds five discography, and a used 2.99 dollar chumbawumba cd!!!!! remember them? "i get knocked down but i get up again, your never gonna keep me down i get knocked down, but i get up again you're never gonna keep me down! Pissing the night away.... pissing the night away...." god i loved that song. adn the whole cd is sweet. AND NOW I FINALLY HAVE IT! yes. After a few games of super smash brothers (which i dominated) and a few funny films made by andrew from his high school days it was time for bed. ha yeah right. i'm so awake. which is why i'm writing here. k so it's 4 am your time and only 1 am mine. Tomorrow we're heading into san fransisco for the day SWEET adn then on sunday we're heading down to southern cali santa barbara which is warm and beautiful. i'm so excited. this trip has been amazing so far and i still have another week here! I know you all are jealous. what can i say i get one vacation a year and it's heaven.
To everyone who has called me. Pollack, Schewe, Marni, Ben... i'm sorry. no i'm not at home right now. lol. i loved your message marni "hi it's marni. i just wanted to know if you could come over" i love you dear but i just don't think i can make it to your house in any less than 6 hours.

But that was really not cool to ruin the book for everyone. You could at least not bold it. Geez.

So, i didnt read all of it, but i did read like, most of it. I sorta picked up from when i talked to you, yeah, long entry, way to go star...So yeah, i'm happy to hear that your having fun and i am insanly jealous of you. Also, i'm not up on my harry potter...wow...so Dumbledore actually dies because of snape? Does snape kill him? I thought snape was relativly an okay guy, even though he is extremely creepy...Maybe the creeyness finally took over. You know, i heard that can actually happen. Because they are sooo creepy that no one likes them and...okay, yeah...anyways...Like i said, i dont know because i'm really not into the books all the much. So i do not think you are a jerk for ruining it, unlike half of all your other friends...
So, have fun in Cali, be safe, make good choices...If you see any hot guys feel free to give out my number. Come home sooooon because i miss you TONS!!!
